ING, the first bank in Romania to launch instant mobile payments at POS for major retailers, through RoPay. The solution is available for the first time at Auchan.

Bucharest, 1.10.2025 – The national instant mobile payment service, RoPay, is getting closer to Romanian users with the premiere launched by ING Bank Romania and Auchan Retail Romania: payment at major retailers by scanning a QR code displayed on the POS, using the mobile banking application.
