Bucharest, November 18, 2024 – Accessible through YOU BRD mobile banking application, RoPay will allow users to initiate instant payments with their mobile phones, directly from one bank account to another, using technologies such as QR code scanning, deep link, NFC (contactless) or mobile number as an alias for IBAN. The first available mode of use is for P2P ("person-to-person") payments in proximity.
