EuPlătesc, one of Romania’s leading payment processors and a payment institution authorised by the National Bank of Romania (NBR), has implemented the first stage of its direct connection to the RoPay infrastructure developed by TRANSFOND. Access to the RoPay scheme for participants acting as payment processors enables them to integrate instant payments for the merchants they serve. This marks a new stage in the service’s development, with payment institutions playing an increasingly important role in expanding access to this payment method.
